Pet Odor Treatments

Pet accidents can cause urine to soak through the carpet into the backing, carpet padding and even into the underlaying floor creating a multi-layer problem.  The biggest challenge in getting the pet odor out is to remove the contamination from all of the affected layers.  On moderate to heavy contamination it may require a urine pre-inspection service to determine the extent of service needed.($35.00 fee)

Blue Jay Carpet Cleaning offers 2 pet odor services.

1. Minor Odor Treatment. This treatment is effective if a pet has had a occasional accident here and there and is not concentrated in one area.  In this treatment a deoderizer is applied directly to top of the carpet to odor causing spots to break up the odor causing material so it can be rinsed out of the carpet. Although this treatment is a good valiant attempt, it is not guaranteed.

2. Moderate to heavy treatment.  This is effective on areas where the pet has returned to the same area of contamination a moderate amount of times or is a large animal.  The problem area is flooded with a special neutralizer. Using a “sub surface extraction tool” the contamination is rinsed from all of the affected layers.   It may require that the carpet padding be removed and floor be sealed. This process is effective so that in most cases we can guarantee complete odor removal from your carpets.
